Taken at Townhall Station.

The Mother and The Brother.

I had a 3 hour break between my classes today, so I decided to catch a bus to the massive Kinokuniya bookshop. I originally went there to purchase books on street photography but ended up buying this novel instead. I already have a copy of this book and all of Haruki Murakami’s work in my eBook reader, but when I walked past this certain copy, I fell in love with the cover… And since I’m a huge fan of Murakami’s, I decided to buy it…. *sigh* … now I NEED to buy the whole collection of his work in hard-copy… which I would love to include in my mini library… but I’m still trying to save for a new lens.. so maybe after that! ahaha..

But since this is a photography blog, let’s get back on topic… what an amazing cover!

This black and white portrait matches the context of the book a lot more than the previous version (http://bookcoverarchive.com/images/books/norwegian_wood.large.jpg).

Anyway, I used the grainy film filter for this shot.

P.S. If you’re wondering, the title of this book is from The Beatles song, also titled ‘Norwegian Wood’.

Its my day off from uni and work, so just relaxing at home. About to take Kalu for a walk!

I got bored after work and went to the park next to my house… Sunset was almost finished so I quickly got a few snaps of the sky.. experimented with the colours a bit. What do you guys think?

Nothing too interesting to post tonight. I had an 11 hour shift at work today, so didn’t really have a chance to take any photos.. However, last night after my late night lecture finished, I did take a snap of this massive neon sign between Glebe and Broadway which lit up everything around it.

So… does this count as free advertising? Should I be getting some sort of compensation? hahaha
